Tourism development program for 2011 approved in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - During the January 13 sitting, the Armenian government approved a tourism development program for 2011.

Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan said that the growth in the field reached 15% in 2010. Moreover, 10% growth is envisaged to be secured in the field in 2011, bringing the number of tourists visiting Armenia to 700,000.

To this end, the Minister submitted an estimate of cost, under which AMD 50mln will be allocated from the state budget.
