Edward Nalbandian: new page is opened in Armenian-Cypriot relations

PanARMENIAN.Net - On January 17, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met in Nicosia with his Cypriot counterpart Markos Kyprianou.

The two men discussed further development of the bilateral relations, specifically, cooperation in international organizations, organization of consultations between the two countries’ foreign ministries, implementation of actions aimed at intensification of cultural and economic ties.

Nalbandian noted that the state visits of the Armenian and Cypriot President, as well as the reached agreements open a new page in the Armenian-Cypriot relations, what is proved also by the Presidents’ willingness to boost the bilateral cooperation.

The parties also discussed the Cypriot and Karabakh conflicts, the RA MFA press service reported.
