Tehran: regional actors will not allow resumption of hostilities in KarabakhFebruary 9, 2011 - 16:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - There are no preconditions for resumption of hostilities in Nagorno Karabakh; neither will OSCE MG or regional actors allow it, according to the Iranian ambassador to Armenia. At a news conference in Yerevan, Seyed Ali Saghaeyan supported Iranian President’s position on peaceful settlement of conflict. “Official Tehran is strictly opposed against attempts at giving religious coloring to the issue, with Azerbaijan well aware of our position. We always supported a dialogue between Christian and Islamic nations,” the ambassador said responding to a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter’s question. Dwelling on Azerbaijan’s increasing military budget, he urged international community to control the situation. “Iran, in turn, will spare no effort for peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict,” the ambassador stressed.
