Yet another failure of Azeri propaganda witnessed in WashingtonFebruary 19, 2011 - 13:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 16, a presentation of a book The Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict: A Legal Analysis authored by a certain German lawyer Heiko Kruger was held at George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs. The event, organized by the Washington Center for Azerbaijani Studies and Elliott School, hosted representatives of NKR permanent mission to U.S. as well as Washington’s Armenian organisations. Kruger briefed the audience about his views on the history of Karabakh conflict, which appeared to be verbatim repetition of official Azerbaijan’s position. The only thing the German “lawyer” missed out was a possible resumption of hostilities. Representatives of NKR and Armenia, however, defended their views, reminding presentation participants about Azeri aggression and militaristic statements of the country’s authorities, as well as pointing out obvious mistakes and out-of-context citations in the book. Next, Kruger failed to reply to every question asked by the Armenian representative. Thus, yet another attempt by the Azeri propaganda machine to falsify the legal aspect of Karabakh conflict ended in a failure, witnessed by al those present.
