Medvedev: sanctions against Russian companies cooperating with Iran unacceptable

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev told U.S. Vice President Joe Biden that unilateral sanctions against Russian companies were unacceptable, Interfax reported.

“The meeting focused on a number of key issues, including unacceptability of unilateral U.S. sanctions against Russian companies, which strictly observe UN Security Council resolution 1929, as well as other resolutions adopted in connection with the situation on Iran’s nuclear program,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich stated at a briefing in Moscow.
