Arthur Alexanyan wins silver at Greco-Roman Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Arthur Alexanyan (96kg), world and European junor champ, grabbed silver at the Greco-Roman Championship. Alexanyan won all of his fights to be defeated by Timofey Dzeinichenk of Belarus in the final.

Arsen Julfalakyan (under 74kg) was beaten by Russia’s Roman Vlasov in a fight for the third place. Vahan Juaharyan (60kg) lost his 1/16 final fight and dropped out of the competition.

Thus, Armenia has 4 medals: Roman Amoyan (55kg) – gold, Arhur Alexanyan (96kg) – silver, Arthur Shahinyan (84kg) and Yuri Patrikeev (120kg) – bronze.
