PM, ADB Vice President discuss cooperation in agriculture, high-tech, tourism sectors

PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 11, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with the Vice President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Xiaoyu Zhao.

At the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of programs aimed at the development and diversification of the Armenian economy.

Mr. Zhao, in turn, expressed readiness to continue cooperation with Armenia. As he noted, the North-South passage investment program, implemented with the ADB assistance, is crucial for the development of infrastructure in Armenia.

The parties went on to discuss further directions in the development of cooperation, including the sectors of agriculture, high-tech and tourism. The importance of hosting a business forum in Armenia to familiarize foreign investors with the investment possibilities in the country was stressed.
