Switzerland's ice hockey league says Augsburger is leaving after two seasons as its chief executive, and will start his Olympic duties in Russia in September. Augsburger says in a statement that it's "a great honor" for the Sochi organizing committee to show such confidence in him. The 52-year-old Augsburger is an experienced Olympic leader in Switzerland. He was the Swiss team's head of mission at the 2006 Turin Olympics, and at two Summer Games, in Athens in 2004 and Beijing four years later, The Associated Press reported.
