SADAM HUSSEIN ASSESSED THE RELATIONS BETWEEN ARMENIA AND IRAQ AS "TRADITIONAL FRIENDSHIP"

PanARMENIAN.Net - YEREVAN, February 27. /Mediamax/. On Feb. 26 the Foreign Minister of Armenia Vardan Oskanian forwarded to Iraqi President Sadam Hussein the message of the Armenian President Robert Kocharian, which stated about consolidation of friendly cooperation between the two states.

According to Iraqi sources, President of Iraq welcomed opening of the Armenian embassy in Baghdad and expressed contentment with traditional friendship of the two countries. Like Armenians in different countries hope to return to their homeland, so the Arabs hope for the unity of the Arabian nation, Hussein said. --0--
