Nature Protection Ministry: sand dust brought by wind from Arab states

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yellow fog, observed in Yerevan and suburbs is conditioned by the sand dust brought by the wind from Arab states, Armenian Ministry of Nature Protection said.

According to the report, no other particles in the air were discovered. “The experts took a sample of air for examination. According to preliminary assessments, the content of dust in the air exceeds the norm by 2-3 times, while the dangerous threshold starts when exceeding the norm by 30-40 times.” Experts assure that the fog will clear within several hours.

Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed no accidents in Armenian enterprises were reported, thus ruling out the suggestion that the cause might come as a consequence of a breakdown.
