Moscow to host World Curling Championships in December 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - Moscow was officially approved as the host country for the World Curling Championships in December 2011. The decision was taken after the inspection of Moscow facilities by experts of the International and European Curling Federations.

“The inspection proved that we have all necessary conditions and qualified specialists for proper organization of the Championships,” Russians Curling Federation president Dmitry Svischev said, quoted by lenta.ru.

The current men champions are Norway. Swiss are champions among women.
