Territorial Administration Minister, WB official discuss population census financingMay 18, 2011 - 16:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan met with Jean-Michel Happi, the World Bank Country Manager for Armenia. Mr. Gevorgyan thanked the WB representative for assistance in conducting intergovernmental population census, preparations for which have already been completed. At present, negotiations are held with donor organisations to attract financial means. The parties further discussed new WB programs for irrigation system development. At May 12 sitting, Armenian government approved the program of population census to be held October 12-21, 2011.
