Average crop yield of apricots expected in Armenia in 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan said the Ministry carries out monitoring throughout the republic to assess growth and volume of fruits, winter wheat and other agricultural products.

According to preliminary data, the crop yield of apricots is at an average level due to climatic conditions in 2011, while that of grape and other agricultural products is high, Karapetyan told journalists in Yerevan on May 20.

As for prices for agricultural products, Karapetyan stated that drop in prices for agricultural products will be observed in the country starting June.
