At news conference in Yerevan, the chairman of the RA National Assembly Standing Committee for Financial, Credit and Budgetary Affairs Gagik Minasyan characterized industry as a locomotive of Armenia’s economic growth. As he noted, the growth became possible due to Armenian authorities-conducted anti-crisis policy. Minasyan believes that the collective indices of January – April 2011 economic activity to be later published by National Statistical Service won’t be below 3,5%.
