Baku accuses Iranian TV channel of slander

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran addressed the Iranian Broadcasting Council to protest against anti-Azerbaijani statements voiced on Sahar 2 TV channel.

According to a representative of Azerbaijani Embassy Ibrahim Gafarov, the head of the structure avoids meeting with Azerbaijani diplomats to discuss the issue.

Gafarov accused the channel of slander, stressing that the activities and policy of Sahar 2, similarly to any radio and TV channel in Iran are directed by the Council.
