Relatives of March 2008 victims plan hunger strike

PanARMENIAN.Net - The relatives of those killed in March 1-2, 2008 disorders are planning a hunger strike, according to Zhamanak daily.

“We are deeply concerned. It’s been a month since the President urged a deeper investigation but no progress is seen,” said Alla Khachatryan, the mother of killed Tigran Khachatyan.

As the daily reported, the relatives have decided to wait for 2 more weeks before going on hunger strike.

In April, President Serzh Sargsyan convoked a meeting to discuss legal reform. He also ordered the law enforcement to continue a deeper investigation into the March 2008 deadly events.
