CIS, European parliamentarians issue document on children’s rights protectionJune 16, 2011 - 19:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The participants of Yerevan-hosted parliamentary conference of CIS, Central and Eastern Europe states on protection of the rights of vulnerable children issued a final document. The document stressed importance of joining forces in protection of vulnerable children’s rights, covering the following points: early childhood development, violence on children, and intensification of legal protection of vulnerable children through provision of relevant parliamentary mechanisms. Over 100 delegates, parliamentarians and international experts participated in the conference, organised by Armenian National Assembly, UNICEF and Interparliamentary Union.
