"Russia always takes into account the interests of its allies while exporting weapon; and Armenia is our ally", Russian Ambassador to Armenia Anatoly Dryukov said today in the interview to Yerevan "Iravunk" paper, answering the question whether Moscow is worried about the fact that the military helicopters Russia is going to sell to Turkey may later be used against Armenia.

The Russian Ambassador also noted that "Armenia and Russia are members of the CIS Collective Security Agreement, with all the ensuing consequences". -0-
