ARMENIA MUSTN'T BE WORRIED ABOUT IMPROVEMENT OF RELATIONS BETWEEN RUSSIA AND AZERBAIJAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - 08.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. "Positive changes in Russian-Azeri ties are not being realized at the expense of Russian-Armenian relations", Russian Ambassador to Armenia Anatoly Dryukov said today in the interview to Yerevan "Iravunk" paper.

The diplomat noted that improvement of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan would promote the Karabakh conflict settlement and resolve the regional cooperation tasks.

"Russia is very interested in elimination of separation lines and unsettled conflicts in the Caucasus. This can be achieved only throughout the development of friendly relations with all the countries of the region", Dryukov said. -0-
