The document envisages a national debt of USD 1.75 bln in 2011; USD 4 blin in 2012; USD 4.15 bln in 2013 and USD 4.3 bln in 2014. At present Armenia’s national debt ranges within 40-50% from GDP, without exceeding the level stipulated by the Law on National Debt. At the sitting, Armenian Minister of Finance Vache Gabrielyan assessed current situation with national debt as manageable, noting that economic growth might only be affected in case the debt ranged within 70% from GDP.
