Artur Baghdasaryan: Karabakh be recognized de-jure or unite with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan tries to get maximum dividends from each summit, not realizing that Armenia has specified principles stipulating peaceful and fair settlement of Karabakh conflict, according to Armenian National Security Council (NSC) Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan.

Armenia, in these terms, must continue talks, strengthen its positions and obtain an acceptable resolution, according to Baghdasaryan.

As the NSC Secretary says, international community is rather accept the position of the Armenian side.

“Our position is clear: Nagorno Karabakh has never been and cannot be a part of Azerbaijan. Karabakh must either become a de-jure recognized state or unite with Armenia. And this issue should be solved by Karabakh people through referendum within people’s right for self-determination,” said Baghdasaryan, adding that land communication and international security guarantees must be laid between Armenia and Karabakh.
