ALBRIGHT URGES BUSH TO PAY MORE ATTENTION ON PROTECTING U.S. INTERESTS IN CAUCASUS

PanARMENIAN.Net - 21.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright urged George Bush to pursue a 21st century foreign policy if he wins the presidential election, tackling issues such as protection of national interests of the US in such "hot spots" as Korea and the Caucasus.

Albright also stressed that the new administration of the US should primarily strive to help Russia safeguard nuclear weapons stockpiles, improve anti-terrorist programs, bolster Arab countries that support peace with Israel. --0--
