As Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan explained at July 20 conference on migration issues, the figure cited does not suggest a new tendency, but rather continues the existing one. “Parallel to improvement of Russian economy after the global crisis, activation in work migration rate was reported in Armenia, which, in turn, suggests the increase of population income from the work abroad,” the President explained.
