Eric Rubin appointed U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for South Caucasus countries

PanARMENIAN.Net - Eric Rubin, who recently served as the deputy U.S. ambassador to Russia, has been appointed the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan stared. His responsibilities include supervision of the South Caucasus countries, Turkey, Greece, and Cyprus.

A career diplomat, Rubin replaced Tina Kaidanow, who was appointed as the First Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, Trend News reported.
