Armenia, China to expand economic cooperationJuly 21, 2011 - 14:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - At July 21 sitting, Armenian government confirmed Armenia-China economic cooperation agreement. The governmental resolution is aimed at development of bilateral ties, activation of business relations and diversification of Armenia-China cooperation. The agreement also envisages creation of Armenia-China governmental committee, as a priority direction of Armenia’s foreign policy. In 2010, Armenia-China product turnover grew by 44,4% to comprise USD 436,7 mln; export volumes to China grossed USD 30,9 mln, China-Armenia import volumes totalling USD 405,8 mln.
