Argentina’s Agriculture Minister to visit Armenia in Sept.July 25, 2011 - 16:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Minister of Agriculture of Armenia Sergo Karapetyan visited Buenos Ayres July 19 - 24 at the invitation of Hugo Luis Biolcati, head of Argentine Rural Society, and Jose Pedro Rekhi, secretary of the organization, to participate in the 125th exhibition of agriculture, world industry and livestock sector in Argentine capital. As the Ministry’s press office reports, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Agriculture Ministries of Armenia and Argentina during two-day talks in Buenos Ayres. The meeting between Armenian Agriculture Minister and Argentina’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture Lorenzo Basso resulted in an agreement regarding visit of a delegation headed by the Argentine Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Julian Dominguez to Armenia in September. In the framework of two-day visit Mr.Karapetyan met with representatives of the Armenian community, presented condition of the agriculture in the country and answered questions of Argentine Armenians.
