ANC insinuates formation of dual power in Armenia, RPA member says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc is attempting to insinuate formation of a dual power in Armenia with the launch opposition-coalition dialogue, according to the head of Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary group.

“ANC, making “I came, I saw, I conquered” into a motto, will use this assumption, as a reason to boast at the rallies,” Galust Sahakyan told a news conference in Yerevan.

As the parliamentarian noted, the authorities have formed a work group to address current issues, rather than a delegation. “ANC is not the only power involved in negotiations; other parliamentary groups and non-parliamentary forces are also participating in talks,” Sahakyan said, advising ANC against harsh statements while negotiations are in progress.
