Astana to host CIS Foreign Ministers’ next meeting in April 2012

PanARMENIAN.Net - A meeting between Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) took place in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on September 2.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov admitted drawbacks but called in his counterparts to see the positive sides of the post-soviet union. “CIS is no an ideal structure but it was created for the welfare of our peoples,” he said.

The next ministerial meeting will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan, in April 2012.
