CIS leaders to meet in Turkmenistan in November 2012

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, will host another summit of CIS leaders in November 2012.

“Turkmenistan will take over the CIS chairmanship on January 1, 2012,” CIS executive committee head Sergey Lebedev said.

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, whose country hosted this year’s meeting of the CIS heads of state, noted the role of the structure in "maintenance of historical ties in the post-soviet space."
