The Armenian working group led by the head of Armenian presidential administration Artashes Toumanian met in Berlin with the Brazilian delegation, the Armenian presidential press office informed MEDIAMAX. The prospects of trade and economic cooperation between Brazil and Armenia were discussed during the meeting. The Brazilian side was represented by the presidential advisor for the foreign relations Jao Santush, head of Brazil Foreign Ministry's department for European states and CIS Marselo Jardim and the head of the department for trade development Mario Vilalvan. The sides apprized the negotiations stressing that they will be continued in the future. The Armenian-Brazilian cooperation was activized in May of 2000 after the visit of the Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian to Brazil.
