  Azerbaijan violates ceasefire 230 times over past week September 10, 2011 - 14:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The number of ceasefire violations at the contact line between the Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces increased in the period from September 4 to 10. According to the press service of NKR defense army, the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire 230 times over the past week, firing about 1200 shots in direction of Karabakh. The NKR army refrained from retaliatory measures but ensured security of its positions.   Top stories Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive. In 2023, the Azerbaijani government will increase the country’s defense budget by more than 1.1 billion manats ($650 million). The bill, published on Monday, is designed to "eliminate the shortcomings of an unreasonably broad interpretation of the key concept of "compatriot". The earthquake caused a temporary blackout, damaged many buildings and closed a number of rural roads.
