Remittances to Armenia amounted $772,4mln in January-July 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - Remittances at the amount of $772,4mln were received by physical persons in Armenia in January-July 2011.

According to the CBA monthly bulletin, the figure increased by 25% ($154,4mln) compared to the same period in 2010.

Besides, 18,4% growth was recorded in the amount of remittances from Armenia, totaling $141,2mln in January-July 2011 against $119,2mln during the same period in 2010.

The net cash inflow increased by 26,5% during the reporting period, amounting to $631,2mln against $498,8mln in January-July 2011. The largest amount of remittances was received from Russia ($557,8mln), followed by the U.S. ($23,6mln) and Kazakhstan ($10,1mln).
