GENOCIDE MUSEUM OPENED IN SYDNEY

PanARMENIAN.Net - 26.09.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. A monument commemorating the victims of the Armenian genocide of 1915 opened in Sydney yesterday.

As it became known to MEDIAMAX from informed sources, the monument is the result of the joint efforts of Armenian communities of Sydney and Melbourne with 30.000 members. The governor of New South Wales Patrick Deen carried out the opening of the monument after meeting with the Armenian Olympic team. -0-
