NSC Secretary: visa regime facilitation with EU important for Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The 7th meeting of the EU Advisory Group to the Republic of Armenia took place in Yerevan under the chairmanship of Secretary of the RA National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan and head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia, ambassador Raul de Luzenberger.

“We have witnessed positive developments over the recent months of Armenia-EU cooperation,” Baghdasaryan said, adding that the EU praised adoption of Armenia’s concept on emigration policy, tax and customs reforms, hotel management strategy and modernization of checkpoints at the Armenian-Georgian border.

Baghdasaryan also hailed the European Commission’s decision to start visa facilitation talks with Armenia, which he said is extremely important for Armenia.
