Georgian President accuses Russia of “instigation”

PanARMENIAN.Net -

Georgian President Mikhel Saakashvili accused Russia of instigating anti-government protest actions among Kakheti people in 2006.

“Russia's embargo in 2006 meant to instigate protests among Kakheti people, with Putin, then a President, aiming to strike a blow in the heart of Kakheti.”

“However, Russia proved mistaken in its hopes; Kakheti people wouldn't overthrow their government to open doors to enemies,” Georgia Times quoted Saakashvili as saying.
