IOC President believes Sochi Olympics will be huge successNovember 3, 2011 - 09:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Jacques Rogge, the President of the International Olympic Committee, said Wednesday, Nov 2 he believes in the huge success of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. He noted that a very strong team of professionals led by Dmitry Chernyshenko is steering preparations for the Games, which are proceeding at a very good pace. Rogge said he feels very optimistic about the Sochi Games. The International Olympic Committee is holding a regular conference at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. The participants are discussing the organization of Olympic competitions for young athletes, Itar-Tass reported. Rogge also announced plans to travel to Russia in mid-November to review Olympics preparations with President Dmitry Medvedev.
