At November 3 session, Tigran Sargsyan noted that 2012 draft state budget envisages AMD 18 billion for creation of a social package for civil servants. “This implies that employees in government institutions regardless of position and salary will get an opportunity to benefit from the social package,” he said adding that the assigned funds will be equally distributed among state officials. Finance Minister Vache Gabrielyan, in turn, introduced 4 aspects of the social package: medical insurance, interest payments on mortgage loans (apartment repair), rest in Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh and education. “Mechanisms have been developed to rule out bureaucracy in the project implementation; payment will be conducted through bank transfers,” he added.
