RPA appreciates Prosperous Armenia member’s sense of humorNovember 11, 2011 - 13:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Chairman of Artsakh Patriotic Union Hamlet Harutyunyan commented on Prosperous Armenia member’s statement regarding party’s having larger electorate under equal conditions. Harutyunyan noted Vardan Bostanjyan’s statement as a serious violation of coalition principles, assessing it as an insult due to his counterpart casting doubt on fairness of elections. “Prosperous Armenia coalition party has a larger electorate than the rest of Armenian political forces,” Bostanjyan stated earlier. On February 17, RPA, Prosperous Armenia and Orinats Yerkir ruling coalition leaders signed a memorandum. The parties agreed not to increase representation in future parliament, endorse RPA leader President Serzh Sargsyan’s candidacy in 2013 presidential election.
