We annually assign AMD 3 mln to organize paralympic festival, in the framework of which about 70 disabled sportsmen have performed in 6 kinds of sports for 3 years,” Abrahamyan said. According to him, Armenian Prime Minister rendered assistance for Armenian representatives’ participation in a tournament in UAE, where Greta Vardanyan won a silver medal and qualified London Paralympics. “Though Armenia has participated in Paralympic Games since 1996, our government does not pay enough attention to paralympic sports,” Abrahamyan said.
