Expert calls on Armenian civil activists to focus on national security

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian military expert David Jamalyan called on Armenian human rights activists to focus on national security.

Dwelling on the statement made by an Armenian civil activist at a NATO seminar suggesting that “Armenia and Azerbaijan breach the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE),” the expert told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that such statements prompt distrust towards human rights advocates in Armenia.

“If the statement belonged to a European official, it would provoke fair indignation, but it becomes inexplicable when made by an Armenian official,” Jamalyan noted.
