Armenian Ombudsman values public support

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Ombudsman says he feels support neither from the authorities nor opposition.

As Karen Andreasyan told a press conference in Yerevan, he values public support more than backing from government or political forces. “Media, non-governmental organizations and citizens who address us are the pillars of our institution,” he said.

The Ombudsman also added that 86 NGOs and media organizations already cooperate with the human rights defender’s office.
