Armenian PM, Ambassador of Egypt discuss bilateral tiesDecember 16, 2011 - 18:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with newly-appointed Ambassador of Egypt to Armenia Alaa as-Din Saad El-Leyt. At the meeting, the parties stressed the necessity of intensifying Armenia-Egypt trade and economic ties, giving high assessment to the development of cultural relations. In this context the Ambassador noted the important role of the Armenian community of Egypt in strengthening of bilateral ties. In conclusion, the Ambassador briefed the PM on current political situation in Egypt as well as possible developments, governmental press service reported.
