Wings of Tatev aerial tramway shifts to winter modeDecember 21, 2011 - 15:20 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Due to transition to winter mode, Wings of Tatev the world’s longest aerial tramway suspended passenger service from Dec 12 to 19, with transportation resumed Dec 20. Over the period indicated, the tramway's electronic and mechanical control systems were adapted to weather peculiarities of Syunik province. Before Dec 29, as well as on Jan 5-6, the tramway will operate from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm; other than that, in January and February the tramway will be open from 11:00 am to 17:00 pm.
