Russian portal froze votes in Yura Movsisyan’s favor

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia’s Krasnodar FC striker Yura Movsisyan still leads the list of contenders for the title of Russia’s best football player of 2011.

According to earlier reports, certain fans attempted to forge votes in the player’s favor and Movsisyan himself slammed them in an interview with Sovsport.ru.

According to the website, the forgery would not stop and they had to fix the current Movsisyan’s final result totaling 10 549 votes. Now fans cannot vote for him during the remaining 5 days of the voting.

“The decision on whether the forward should participate in the final voting will be made together with our readers,” the website said.

The name of Russia’s best football player of 2011 will be announced on December 27.
