Armenians of Georgia rally to thank France for Genocide bill adoption

PanARMENIAN.Net - Assembly of Tbilisi Armenians will hold appreciation “Merci” rally before French Embassy in Georgia at 1:00pm, December 23.

The board of Assembly of Tbilisi Armenians as well as leaders of other Armenian organizations - Union of Armenian veterans of the Georgia, Nor Serund Association of Georgian Armenians, Armenian Youth Association of Georgia – initiated the campaign after French National Assembly approved the bill criminalizing denial of the Armenian Genocide.

The demonstrators will also hand over a letter of appreciation to French ambassador to Georgia.
