Levon Aronian to participate in Tata Steel Chess Tournament

PanARMENIAN.Net - On January 14-29, Armenian Grandmaster Levon Aronian will participate in traditional Tata Steel Chess Tournament in Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands.

Aronian’s contenders are as follows: Magnus Carlsen (Norway), Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria), Sergey Karjakin (Russia), Vasyl Ivanchuk (Ukraine), Hikaru Nakamura, Gata Kamsky (U.S.), Boris Gelfand (Israel), Fabiano Caruana (Italy), Anish Giri, Luk van Veli (Netherlands), David Navara (Czech Republic), Teimour Radjabov and Vugar Gashimov (Azerbaijan).

GM Elina Danielian is among the participants of Tournament C, armchess.am reported.

Aronian came 3rd with 8 points in 2011 Wijk aan Zee tournament.
