SCR registers 6,7% index growth in 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - 3269,4 thousand tons of cargo was transported through the South Caucasus Railways (SCR) in 2011, which by 6,7% exceeds the 2010 index. It is noteworthy, that the cargo volume transported over the last year surpassed the target by 9.6%.

449,8 thousand tons of cargo was exported in 2011, the number exceeding the 2010 export rate by 32%, while the imported cargo totaled 1351,1 thousand tons, decreasing by 5,2% compared with 2010, SCR press service reported.
