Levon Aronian to face Boris Gelfand at Tata Steel round 12

PanARMENIAN.Net - After a defeat by David Navara (Czech Republic) in the 11th round of Tata Steel Chess Tournament in Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands, Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian still tops the standings with 7,5 points.

Meanwhile with 7 points Magnus Carlsen climbed to the 2nd place followed by Teimour Radjabov (Azerbaijan).

In the 12th round Aronian will face off against Boris Gelfand who currently comes 9th with 5 points. In the last round Armenian grandmaster will rival Radjabov.

In tournament C Elina Danielyan has gained 3,5 points to come 11th.
