Aronian-Kramnik match likely in April

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian said he is extremely happy to have shown a perfect result at the 74th Tata Steel Chess Tournament in Wijk aan Zee.

In the 13-round tournament, Aronian won 7 games, tied 4 and lost 2, to claim his 3rd Tata Steel title. “This is the best tournament in my career, as I managed to control the situation almost all the time,” the GM confesses.

He also said that his next match will probably be against Russia’s Vladimir Kramnik in April.
