Iran military official: Qatar, Turkey tasked to foil Tehran policies

PanARMENIAN.Net - Senior Military Aide to the Iranian Supreme Leader Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi blasted the U.S. for its hostile position against Tehran, and said Washington has tasked Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey with directing the regional developments against Iran's policies.

"The U.S. has given a role to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey to direct the regional developments in a way that they move towards these countries' interests in line with the U.S. policies and opposite to Iran's policies," Safavi said on Tuesday, January 31.

Owing to the fact that Iran's Islamic Revolution serves as a role model for the regional and world nations in their fight against the tyranny of their rulers and arrogant powers, the U.S. and its allies are attempting to prevent Tehran's further political influence in the region, he added, according to Fars News Agency.
